Lv. 2, 202 The faculty will define the population and review common barriers to care prior to reviewing preventive care recommendations. They will then teach the current strategies for calculating preventive care interventions for transgender patients.
12:15p-12:45p CME Fast-15: Family Building Options for LGBTQ+ Patients Lv. 1, 104 LGBTQ+ patients and couples face unique fertility circumstances and have a variety of reproductive options to choose from to create their family. This lecture will provide an overview of these options including but not limited to intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), donor sperm, donor egg, gestational carrier, fertility preservation, and adoption.
2:15p - 3:15p CME Gender-affirming Hormone Therapy for Adults: Initiation, Monitoring, and Management Lv. 2, 205 Participants will leave this session comfortable initiating gender-affirming hormone therapy for transgender and gender non-binary patients, adjusting pharmacologic care, monitoring appropriate labs, managing more complex cases, and referring as appropriate.

10:30a - 11:30a CME Update on Sexual Transmitted Infections: Advanced and Interesting Cases  Lv. 4, Grand Ballrm C At the conclusion of this session, participants should be discuss clinical, presentation, workup, and treatment of common STIs , review and reference current guidelines for screening and treatment of STIs, and recognize atypical STI presentations and treatment options.
1:00p - 2:00p CME Prescribing HIV Prevention: Preexposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) Lv. 4, Grand Ballrm B Participants should be able to identify risk factors for HIV among their patients, become familiar with prescribed HIV prevention methods, reference current guidelines for the use of ARVs as prevention, and how medical HIV prevention can be tailored.

9:15a - 10:15p CME Gender-affirming Surgeries: Procedure, Complications, and Long Term Care Lv. 2, 202 This session will focus on World Professional Association for Transgender Health Version 7 guidelines and the medico-legal aspects of providing gender-affirming surgical care in the U.S. The session will discuss pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative gender-affirming surgical care including top surgery, vaginoplasty, metoidioplasty, phalloplasty, craniofacial surgeries, orchiectomy, hysterectomy, and more.
10:30a - 11:30a CME Female Sexual Health: How to Ask, How to Help Lv. 4, Grand Ballrm B The presentation will review how to discuss sexual health definitions, normal and abnormal symptoms, while also comparing various pathologic conditions that affect sexual health.
2:15p - 3:15pCMEA Dangerous Intrusion: An Examination and Discussion of the current wave of Anti-LGBTQ+ Legislation

In recent years, a number of states have introduced legislation that could limit the ability of sexual and gender diverse (SGD) people (including but not limited to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and nonbinary) to have equal access to services. These bills threaten to exacerbate SGD discrimination in health care and undermine decades of efforts of organizations to increase awareness of SGD health disparities and improve access to affirming and competent care for SGD people.
3:30p - 4:30p CME Monkeypox in the U.S. Lv. 2, 202 At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to: reference the epidemiologic trends of monkeypox in the U.S. beginning in 2022, identify preventive measures including vaccination monkeypox, recognize typical and atypical presentations of monkeypox, and recommend appropriate treatment modalities including antivirals and supportive treatment
