Student Membership

Students are important members of the LBGT PA Caucus and play a vital role in the organization. Our student members come from diverse backgrounds and include those who identify as LGBT and non-binary, as well as those who are allies of our community.

There are many benefits to becoming a student member:

• Student membership is just $10/year while you are a student, a significant discount off the fellow membership.
• The opportunity to apply for the annual Student Leader Fellowship - a one-year fellowship in leadership development which includes a $1000 travel stipend to attend the annual AAPA Conference.
• Networking and career development opportunities in your area of interest.
• Invitation to the Annual Reception to Honor LGBT PA students at the annual AAPA Conference

There is also a Student-to-Fellow promotional membership for newly-graduated PAs during their first year as a PA-C. Just drop us a line to let us know you are graduating and we'll be glad to help!

INTERSECTIONAL Student LeaderS Fellowship

The LBGT PA Caucus is pleased to partner with the African Heritage PA Caucus and with PAs for Latino Health to sponsor two additional Student Leader Fellowships for LGBT PA students who also identify as Black or Latino/a/x.
