LBGT PA Student Mentor program

(Mobile devices: rotate screen for full view)

The LBGT PA Caucus is proud to offer a new Mentor Program to PA students and new graduates!

Program Goals

Provide a safe space and encouraging support network for LGBT and LGBT BIPOC identifying students and new graduates. Create a lasting community that PAs and PA students alike can rely on through the years. Foster an environment that allows students and new graduates to flourish, gain much needed insight into the profession, and create positive relationships with the LBGT PA Caucus family.

How It Works...

THE SET UP

The Mentor Program utilizes Slack for each mentor group. Slack is a workspace platform that allows groups to communicate via messaging, video calling, send documents/photos and utilize preapproved add-on apps such as Zoom, Google suite, and Microsoft apps. Every mentor will have their own Slack channel (page) within the main LBGT PA Mentor Program Slack account. The mentor groups will be comprised of students only, new graduates only, or a mixture of the two. Mentor groups will have anywhere from 2-8 mentees. Mentors and mentees will ONLY have access to their specific mentor group in Slack.
